MHEV
The Mazda CX-70 MHEV powertrain is built with the versatile i-Activ AWD that provides you with an efficient and responsive performance. This variant of the CX-70 integrates an electric motor that reduces the load on the gasoline engine to optimize your fuel efficiency. Making it an exceptional vehicle for everyday use with no plug-in charging required. The CX-70 MHEV is also proud to boast a towing capacity up to 5,000 lbs and an e-SKYACTIV-G 3.3L Inline 6 Turbo engine to deliver you with the utmost power and performance.
PHEV
The Mazda CX-70 PHEV sports a dual electrification and electrified powertrain. This is a great option for those looking to experience more electrification behind the wheel. With this variant of the CX-70, you can experience an electric driving range up to 40 kilometers and electric driving speed up to 60 kilometers per hour. This will provide you with all-electric power for shorter distance trips, and a hybrid powertrain for longer journeys. The CX-70 PHEV also comes with a standard Level 1 charging capability and an available Level 2 charging to decrease your charging time by up to 75 per cent.
The PHEV also comes with a charge mode that when activated will utilize your engine as a generator as you drive to charge your PHEV’s battery to maintain a preset level of power.
